Dr. Brown takes great joy in being able to provide safe, quality care across all disciplines of medicine. Although helping you to maintain good health is always his goal, he is also there to help when you're ill, regardless of severity.
Equally comfortable giving advice on managing the sniffles or managing a ventilator in the ICU, supporting your natural childbirth or performing a high risk cesarean section, he is always honored to be trusted with your care.
Dr. Brown tries to provide care close to home in our modern family medicine clinic, with on-site x-ray and lab. When further tests or hospitalization are required, he has full medical and obstetric privileges at Texas County Memorial Hospital, conveniently located across the street from his office. This vitals.com four-out-of-four-stars (top-tier) general community hospital prides itself on its history of delivering quality medical, surgical, and obstetric care to the local community.
Dr. Brown attends to his own hospitalized patients, even (with very rare exceptions) on weekends and holidays. He feels this is the best way to know all aspects of a person's health, and to seamlessly and efficiently transition between the office, hospital, and follow-up. He also actively participates in quality assurance programs to ensure that he is delivering the best possible care.
When circumstances dictate that specialist care be provided, Dr. Brown has the resources of Mercy-St. John's Clinic, ranked as one of the top 10 clinics nationally, to ensure timely access to a wide variety of physicians. With the Mercy integrated electronic medical record, consultations and reports are immediately available to everyone involved in a patient's care, and patients can access electronic services at home through My Mercy.
